Wetlands and Riparian Studies
Ecosystem Management, Inc. has extensive experience providing analysis of impacts to wetlands from resource development projects and in wetland design, creation, and monitoring. Ecosystem Management, Inc. has assisted clients in obtaining the necessary permits required by federal, state, tribal, and local regulatory agencies.

Cultural Resources Investigations

EMI archaeologists, ethnographers, and historians are permitted to conduct cultural resource surveys on BLM, Forest Service, tribal, and state lands across the western U.S. EMI has conducted numerous Class I, II, and III surveys as well as extensive data recovery projects. EMI has extensive experience in performing Traditional Cultural Property consultations with tribes.

Environmental Impact Assessment and Permitting
Ecosystem Management, Inc. conducts environmental investigations necessary for meeting the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and associated regulatory requirements. EMI has prepared numerous NEPA documents for a wide variety of federal agencies including the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and the U.S. Forest Service. EMI has led several Interdisciplinary Teams to identify issues, develop or refine the purpose and need, formulate alternatives, conduct impact assessment, and develop mitigation plans.

EMI also has extensive experience in developing water quality assessments and treatment programs for tribes under U.S. EPA grants.
