Procedures for Acquiring Ecosystem Management, Inc.
Services Using GSA Schedule

Development of task orders, contracting, billing, and other project management is done directly with Ecosystem Management, Inc. although a GSA contracting officer will assist with the initial procurement process, if necessary. The GSA does not charge agencies any fees for contract administration. Ecosystem Management is responsible for a 0.75% industrial funding fee, which is paid directly to GSA. It is very simple to obtain Ecosystem Management services through its GSA contract.

The following steps are involved:
  • Develop a Statement of Work (SOW) for the proposed project including specific tasks to be performed or the type of services needed for an indefinite quantity contract.
  • Submit a request for quotes to Ecosystem Management, Inc. for providing the services in the SOW. If competitive bids are required, request at quote from two other GSA schedule holders.
  • Evaluate the quotes and qualifications of the contractors and select a contractor that provides the best value.
